Raleigh, N.C. and Stuart, Fla. – April 22, 2017. Today marked the opening of Stuart Surgery Center at Martin Health in Stuart, Fla. The new outpatient facility, developed in partnership with Martin Health System and Compass Surgical Partners, will be specifically equipped to perform gastroenterology procedures. It will allow local patients undergoing screening and treatment for digestive diseases to have procedures completed in a safe, convenient, and affordable environment.
Compass is honored to be a part of the high-value care solutions that Martin Health System brings to the area. A tremendous amount of work goes into the development of facilities such as this one. Compass has strong, dedicated clinical and operational team that focuses on the establishment of best-in-class care environments. The center will provide a high-quality, efficient setting for GI procedures focused on patient-centered care.
The surgery center is located at 2096 SE Ocean Blvd in Stuart. The center expects to be accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), which surveys and accredits surgery centers that exhibit the highest standard of quality.
MHS and Compass have an existing partnership, focused on the development of additional outpatient surgery options for residents of Martin Health System’s service area. Currently, the two organizations operate Tradition Surgery Center, located on the campus of Tradition Medical Center in Port St. Lucie. The new GI center in Stuart represents an expansion of the partnership.
